Sept. 14: Korea market changes, delistings and protocol shutdowns
A heavy calendar of crypto-related policy, infrastructure and company events is lined up for Sept. 14 through Sept. 20. On Sept. 14, Korea Exchange is set to launch after-hours stock trading, with ETFs and ETNs excluded from the session.

Also on Sept. 14, UK-listed bitcoin treasury company Satsuma plans to delist. The company also intends to sell all of its bitcoin holdings and return capital to investors.
South Korea’s largest crypto exchange, Upbit, has announced that trading support for Jasmy (JASMY), ThunderCore (TT) and STORJ will end on Sept. 14.
Spark said in a post on X that it will shut down its SparkLend deployment on Gnosis Chain on Sept. 14. Once the change takes effect, all outstanding loans on that instance will immediately become eligible for liquidation. Spark told users to repay debt before Sept. 14 to avoid liquidations, adding that the move is meant to reduce overall risk exposure and cut ongoing maintenance costs.
Sept. 15: CLARITY Act faces a procedural Senate vote
The U.S. Senate is scheduled to hold a cloture-related procedural vote at 2:15 p.m. Eastern Time on Sept. 15 on a motion tied to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, or CLARITY Act. It will be the bill’s first full Senate floor vote since it passed the House in July 2025.
The bill is numbered H.R. 3633. The House previously approved it by a vote of 294 to 134.
This vote concerns whether to limit debate on the motion to proceed. Supporters need 60 votes. Republicans currently hold 53 Senate seats, meaning that if every Republican supports the motion, seven additional votes would still be required. Any absence or defection would raise that number.
According to Bitcoin.com News, if the procedural vote succeeds, debate time on the motion to proceed would be capped at 30 hours, after which the Senate would vote on that motion. Only if that motion passes would the chamber move to formal consideration of the bill. The bill itself would then still need to clear another 60-vote cloture hurdle, and if the Senate changes the text, the revised version would have to go back to the House.
Elsewhere on Sept. 15, Nasdaq-listed Datavault AI said it will officially launch Information Data Exchange, or IDE, on Sept. 15, 2026. The asset-tokenization trading platform is designed to support identification, authentication, scoring, valuation, tokenization and monetization of data and other real-world assets, while allowing data owners to retain ownership and control of the underlying data.
Chief executive Nathaniel Bradley said, 「Tokenization itself does not create a market,」 adding that the company’s goal is to build full-stack infrastructure covering identification, authentication, valuation, tokenization, trading and settlement.
Businesswire said Datavault AI will also launch NILv, a trading platform for athlete commercial rights, and APEX, a blockchain-based marketplace for data and advertising.
DeFi yield protocol Pyra has also said it will cease operations, with user withdrawals due before Sept. 15.
Sept. 16: Arc mainnet, U.S. crypto tax review and India hearing
Circle said Arc, its open blockchain network for global financial markets, is scheduled to launch its public mainnet on Sept. 16. The company said Arc has already been running on a private mainnet and has attracted more than 100 institutions and ecosystem participants.
BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation and Visa will serve as Arc’s founding validators, taking part in network security and governance.
Also on Sept. 16, the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee is scheduled to review a series of digital-asset tax bills as lawmakers push crypto tax legislation closer to a House floor vote. The review will center on two questions: when miners and stakers should be taxed on newly created tokens, and whether stock wash-sale rules should apply to digital assets.
The two bills are H.R. 9175, the Mining and Staking Tax Fairness Act, and H.R. 9172, the Digital Asset Anti-Abuse Act. The first would allow miners and stakers to defer tax on newly received tokens until sale, at which point the proceeds would be taxed as ordinary income. The second would extend wash-sale and constructive sale rules to actively traded digital assets.
In India, the parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance has set Sept. 16 for testimony from the Department of Economic Affairs on virtual digital assets. Crypto is not legal tender in India, but it is not banned. Investment gains are taxed at a flat 30%, with a 1% tax deducted at source.
By mid-2026, 54 virtual digital asset service providers had registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit, including CoinDCX, CoinSwitch, Binance and Coinbase, yet about 91.5% of India’s crypto trading volume was still flowing to offshore platforms. The committee has already heard opposing views from the Reserve Bank of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with the central bank opposing legalization and the accountants’ body supporting a comprehensive legal framework.
