Bitcoin News said in a post on X, citing CoinGlass data, that major cryptocurrencies saw limited net moves over the past 24 hours, but price swings around the Federal Reserve meeting still triggered roughly $286 million in liquidations. More than 87,000 traders were affected. Long positions accounted for $186 million of the total, while short positions made up $100 million. Bitcoin alone saw about $57 million in liquidations. Losses were described as nearly even between bulls and bears, with an around 2% move in Bitcoin enough to wipe out leveraged positions on both sides. After that leverage was flushed out, Bitcoin was trading above the level seen when the Fed announced that it would leave interest rates unchanged.

Bitcoin News said in a post on X, citing CoinGlass data, that major cryptocurrencies posted little net change over the past 24 hours, but volatility before and after the Federal Reserve meeting still triggered about $286 million in liquidations and affected more than 87,000 traders.

Of that total, long liquidations reached $186 million and short liquidations came in at $100 million. Bitcoin alone accounted for about $57 million. Losses on the long and short sides were described as nearly balanced, as an around 2% price move was enough to liquidate leveraged bulls and bears alike.

After leverage on both sides was cleared out, Bitcoin was trading above the level seen when the Fed announced that rates would remain unchanged.
