Fireblocks executive Itai Turbahn said in an Unchained Premium interview that technology from Dynamic, the wallet startup acquired by Fireblocks, may be providing the underlying infrastructure for some money transfers conducted by banks through payments technology company Fiserv. Turbahn said interbank transfers may use Fiserv as the infrastructure layer, with Dynamic’s wallet stack operating behind the scenes. Fiserv’s digital asset platform went live on Oct. 1. Its first use case was Roughrider Coin, a U.S. dollar stablecoin issued by Bank of North Dakota. Fireblocks provides the platform’s secure digital asset infrastructure and tokenization services, while transactions run on Solana. A Fiserv digital assets executive had also said earlier that the company’s FIUSD stablecoin would be compatible with external digital wallets, with partnership updates expected before year-end.
