DeFi protocol Fluid said it has launched Liquidity as a Service, or LaaS, aimed at issuers of stablecoins, yield-bearing stablecoins, and real-world asset (RWA) products. Under the model, Fluid deploys and maintains decentralized exchange liquidity for partner issuers using its own capital, which it said comes from the USDC Lite Vault pool. According to the project, issuers do not need to contribute assets, take on impermanent loss exposure, or handle position management themselves. Fluid added that the service uses a fixed-fee structure and that formal legal agreements will be signed between both parties. The announcement was made in a post on X.
