Former Robinhood Crypto Chief Operating Officer Tanya Denisova has joined stablecoin issuer Agora as Head of Operations, according to a blog post by Agora CEO and co-founder Nick van Eck. Denisova previously oversaw crypto operations at Robinhood and brings extensive operational experience to the role.
Agora also stated that Denisova will serve as Chief Operating Officer of its proposed National Trust Bank, contingent on the company receiving national trust charter approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). If approved, the bank would operate as a regulated entity under Agora's compliance structure.
