Chinese companies on the ranking generated about $10.4 trillion in total revenue, with average profit of $4.5 billion, about 40% of the $11.24 billion average for U.S. companies.

Among Chinese companies, JD.com ranked No. 41, the highest among mainland China’s private companies. Alibaba was No. 56, Tencent was No. 97 and entered the top 100 for the first time, PDD Holdings was No. 255, and Meituan was No. 311. All of them moved up in the ranking.

In high tech, 38 companies made the list and their average profit reached $21.98 billion. Nvidia jumped 38 places to No. 28, while TSMC climbed 44 spots to No. 82. SK Hynix ranked No. 210. Micron Technology and Advanced Micro Devices returned to the list after years away.

The auto sector showed wider divergence. BYD ranked No. 91, CATL climbed 43 places to No. 260, and Chery Automobile made the list for the first time as a listed company.

Wistron Group posted the biggest gain in the ranking, rising 298 places to No. 198.
