Franklin Templeton has officially launched the tokenized version of its Franklin U.S. Equity Index ETF (USPX), designated $USPXx, on the Mantle network. The tokenized product represents roughly $2 billion of the U.S. equity market and is now available for 24/7 on-chain trading on Fluxion, a decentralized exchange built on Mantle.
Issued by xStocksFi, $USPXx is among the first assets to distribute the ETF directly on a blockchain venue. Mantle, an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 network, is one of the earliest on-chain platforms to support this tokenized ETF, offering low fees and high throughput. Fluxion enables users to gain exposure to the U.S. equity index through a simple token swap, eliminating the need for traditional brokers or custodians.
This launch marks a significant step in Franklin Templeton's adoption of blockchain technology, bringing a core ETF product into a decentralized environment. Tokenized ETFs lower the barrier to entry for U.S. equity investment while enabling 24/7 trading, instant settlement, and increased transparency. The integration with Mantle and Fluxion sets a new precedent for liquidity and accessibility of traditional financial assets on the blockchain.
