FxPro has renewed its partnership with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, extending a commercial relationship that the company says has now spanned years of McLaren’s return to the top of the sport. The announcement follows McLaren’s 2025 Formula 1 season double, with the team winning a second straight Constructors’ Championship and Lando Norris taking the Drivers’ Championship.
Partnership that began in 2018 will continue
In its Feb. 25, 2026 statement, FxPro said the partnership first started in 2018. Under the renewed agreement, the FxPro logo will remain in premium placement on McLaren Formula 1 cars, on the drivers’ helmets, and across team kit. The broker linked the relationship to shared themes of speed, precision, discipline and execution.
Ilya Holeu, Chief Product Owner and Chief Marketing Officer at FxPro, said watching McLaren complete a historic 2025 season with both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ titles had been remarkable. He said the company was pleased to continue what he described as a winning combination and framed the extension as part of FxPro’s effort to connect clients with the mindset associated with top-level performance.
McLaren calls the renewal a continuation of a successful tie-up
Matt Dennington, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing, said the team was pleased to renew the partnership. He added that after a highly successful Formula 1 season, McLaren was eager to see FxPro continue its involvement as the racing group develops and competes across several disciplines.
FxPro described the arrangement as more than sponsorship, calling it a strategic alliance between two industry leaders. The company said it represents the most significant commercial agreement in FxPro’s history since its 1999 founding. FxPro also said it offers access to more than 2,100 trading instruments across foreign exchange, stocks, futures, indices, metals and energy, and noted that it has received 140+ industry awards.
McLaren’s racing footprint and longer-term targets
McLaren Racing said it was founded by Bruce McLaren in 1963 and entered its first Formula 1 race in 1966. Since then, the team has won 23 Formula 1 world championships and more than 200 Formula 1 Grands Prix. It has also won the Indianapolis 500 three times and claimed victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours on its first attempt.
The racing group currently competes across four series: the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, F1 Academy and the F1 Sim Racing Championship. McLaren also said it is a signatory to the UN Sports for Climate Action Commitment and is targeting net zero by 2040.
