G-Wallet, a decentralized crypto platform and wallet provider, has revealed a series of updates on its blockchain ecosystem, focusing on the development of its hybrid wallet and additional platform features. The initiative aims to build a sustainable and decentralized wallet ecosystem that offers users comprehensive digital wealth management solutions.
Core Hybrid Wallet Features: DEX and P2P Dual Channels
The G-Wallet hybrid wallet integrates two core modules: a decentralized exchange (DEX) and a peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange. The DEX is designed to allow users to trade crypto assets without the constraints of centralization, enabling the exchange of DeFi products on the G-Wallet blockchain. A key feature is the Atomic Swap functionality, which allows users to swap the platform's native token LEVEL G for other Stellar-based tokens directly within the wallet.
Additionally, the DEX includes a dedicated smart tracker built as a form of yield AI. This tool scans the Stellar blockchain to identify the best token swap and yield opportunities. G-Wallet has also confirmed plans to implement popular DeFi features like staking, borrowing, and lending on its smart contract layer.
The P2P exchange supports direct trading of major assets including BTC, ETH, USDT, XRP, and XLM. To mitigate fraudulent transactions, G-Wallet has integrated an inbuilt escrow system: funds are held during a transaction and only released upon completion. The platform secures user data with SSL encryption, and because it is built on the Stellar network, it inherits immutability and security characteristics from the Stellar blockchain.
Identity Verification: The GKYC System
G-Wallet continues development of its GKYC (G-Know Your Customer) system, a unique identification mechanism that requires users to undergo a verification process. This ensures that crypto exchange services on the platform remain free from fraudulent transactions and cybercriminals.
LEVEL G Token: The Ecosystem Engine
The G-Wallet ecosystem is powered by the LEVEL G native utility token. Built on the Stellar blockchain, the token provides users with access to P2P features and enables cheap cross-border transactions. Users must hold a minimum amount of LEVEL G to use exchange services. The token can also be exchanged for other crypto assets via the DEX's atomic swap feature. LEVEL G has a limited supply of 21 million tokens and is already listed on several exchanges. Long-term, G-Wallet intends to partner with card companies like Mastercard and Visa to expand use cases, including the issuance of LEVEL G debit cards that can be used for everyday payments.
G-Wallet aims to provide financial freedom through a truly decentralized system. Further information is available on the official website.
