Gate said it will upgrade the Gate Card points rewards program on Aug. 14, 2026, broadening the range of assets users can redeem with accumulated points. The current lineup, which has mainly supported USDT and GT, will be expanded to include USDT, GT, BTC, ETH, GUSD, tokenized stock assets tied to Nvidia, Apple, Google, SpaceX, Tesla, Micron Technology, SanDisk and SK Hynix, as well as the gold-backed stablecoin XAUT. According to the announcement, the newly added tokenized stock products span sectors such as AI, semiconductors and consumer technology. Gate said users who earn points through eligible daily spending will be able to redeem them for mainstream crypto assets including BTC and ETH, or for tokenized equity-style assets linked to companies such as Nvidia, Apple, Tesla and SpaceX. The core redemption rule will stay the same at 100 points for assets worth 1 USDT, and points will continue to have no expiration date. Gate also said the original points earning mechanism will remain unchanged, with cashback from eligible Gate Card spending still calculated based on T0–T5 and VIP tiers.

After the update, assets available for Gate Card points redemption will expand beyond the current primary support for USDT and GT to include USDT, GT, BTC, ETH, GUSD, and tokenized stock assets including NVDAG, AAPLG, GOOGLG, SPCXG, TSLAG, MUG, SNDKG and SKHYG. Those products correspond to Nvidia, Apple, Google, SpaceX, Tesla, Micron Technology, SanDisk and SK Hynix, respectively.

According to the announcement, the newly added tokenized stock assets cover several popular sectors, including AI, semiconductors and consumer technology. Users who earn points through eligible everyday spending will be able to redeem them for mainstream crypto assets such as BTC and ETH, or for tokenized stock assets tied to companies including Nvidia, Apple, Tesla and SpaceX.

Gate also said Gate Card points will support redemption for the gold stablecoin XAUT, adding another option to the rewards program.

The redemption ratio will remain unchanged at 100 points for assets worth 1 USDT. Points will remain valid permanently, and other core rules will stay the same. Users will still be able to earn points cashback through eligible Gate Card spending, with cashback rates continuing to be calculated based on T0–T5 and VIP levels.

Gate said the upgrade will not affect the existing points accrual mechanism and will only expand the asset choices on the redemption side, widening the use cases for Gate Card points.
