Gate's second Pre-IPOs project, OpenAI (OPENAI), attracted more than $148 million in cumulative subscriptions within one hour of opening, with the oversubscription rate reaching 639.39%, according to official platform data cited by Odaily.
The platform said participation continued to rise, reflecting sustained interest in pre-listing investment opportunities tied to AI-related assets.
Subscription window and terms
The OpenAI (OPENAI) subscription period will run until July 17 at 15:00 UTC+8. Users can participate with either USDT or GUSD.
Gate said the total subscription value is about $20 million. A total of 27,700 OPENAI asset certificates are being issued, and the subscription price is set at $722 for 1 OPENAI. The minimum amount per order is 100 USDT or 100 GUSD. The platform also said implicit fees and custody fees will be waived.
Allocation method and pre-market schedule
For allocations, Gate said it will use the "hourly average locked amount" as the basis for distributing asset certificates. Users who join earlier and keep funds locked for longer will receive a higher allocation weight.
OPENAI is also scheduled to open for pre-market trading in the Pre-IPOs section on July 20 at 16:00 UTC+8.
Incentives for participants
Gate said the offering comes with several participation incentives, including GT rewards as well as exclusive airdrop campaigns for VIP users and super affiliates.
- Users with a successful subscription amount above $10,000 will receive 1 GT each.
- Users whose subscription amount is below 10,000 USDT will share a 2,000 GT reward pool.
- Users subscribing with GUSD can also receive a 3.8% annualized minting yield.
