Gate Introduces Stock Transfer Service: Seamless Cross-Broker Movement for US and Hong Kong Stocks
Gate has officially rolled out its stock transfer service, allowing users to request inbound transfers of US or Hong Kong stocks from external brokers into their Gate account, as well as outbound transfers of holdings to other brokers. The service adopts a Free of Payment (FOP) transfer method, with US stocks processed through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system and Hong Kong stocks through the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS). The entire transfer process typically takes between 3 and 15 business days, depending on the processing efficiency of both the sending and receiving brokers and market procedures. Notably, Gate currently charges no fees for either incoming or outgoing transfers, significantly reducing the cost for users to migrate assets across brokers.

This launch marks a critical step in Gate's global stock business, completing the full asset mobility loop from trading and portfolio management to cross-broker asset migration. Previously, Gate had already integrated digital assets and global stock assets into a single platform, eliminating the need to switch between multiple accounts for unified management, thereby enhancing cross-market investment convenience.

Limited-Time Deposit Rewards: Fee Subsidies and VIP Upgrades
To further incentivize users to experience cross-broker transfers, Gate has simultaneously launched a limited-time 'Stock Deposit Rewards' campaign. The campaign runs from July 1 to July 7, 2026. Users must register and complete an inbound transfer request for US or Hong Kong stocks, with the transferred asset value reaching at least 3,000 USDT equivalent. Eligible users can then submit valid transfer fee receipts from the original broker to apply for fee subsidies and enjoy VIP tier upgrades. Specifically, US stock transfer fees can be subsidized up to 15,000 USDT, while Hong Kong stock fees are eligible for up to 6,000 USDT. VIP levels can be upgraded up to VIP 9. The subsidy amount is determined based on actual transfer fees and corresponding tiers. Users can visit the campaign page for detailed rules and conditions.

Global Stock Coverage and 24/7 Trading
Gate's stock platform boasts an extensive asset coverage network. Currently, the platform supports users in trading over 10,000 US mainstream stocks and ETFs, covering major US securities exchanges and liquidity networks including NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, and BATS, all tradable with USDT. Additionally, it offers more than 1,500 Hong Kong stock symbols and over 1,000 Korean stocks, accumulating a total of over 12,500 stock and ETF assets globally. In terms of trading hours, Gate supports 24/7 trading for US, Hong Kong, and Korean stocks, breaking the limitations of traditional securities market hours by covering pre-market, regular, after-hours, overnight, and even weekend sessions. The platform also supports fractional share trading from as low as 0.01 shares, lowering the barrier to entry for global stock investing.

Leveraging a unified account system, Gate integrates both digital assets and global stock assets into a single interface, which is also linked to the platform's VIP tier system. Users with a portfolio value of at least $2,000 can qualify for VIP status, enjoying exclusive stock trading fees as low as 0.023% and access to a 1-on-1 account manager. The addition of stock transfer functionality further solidifies Gate's multi-asset service ecosystem, enhancing the efficiency of cross-market and cross-asset allocation for global investors. Looking ahead, Gate plans to continue expanding its global market coverage, refine its multi-asset trading and wealth management infrastructure, and build an increasingly open, convenient, and efficient one-stop global investment platform.
