Crypto exchange Gemini announced on Thursday a partnership with Elon Musk's SpaceXAI to integrate the Grok AI model into its prediction market platform, launching Command Center. The feature automatically surfaces the most relevant market information — covering crypto, sports, commodities, politics, economy, and culture — based on each user's portfolio, watchlist, and prediction history.

Gemini says Command Center "comes to you," eliminating the need to scour social media. The system learns from a user's holdings, watchlist, and prediction history to push forward the information most useful for making the next move.

Behind Grok: SpaceXAI and X Data Integration

Grok is developed by SpaceXAI, a branch of Elon Musk's SpaceX, which also operates the Grok AI model and social platform X (formerly Twitter). This means Gemini's prediction market taps not only an AI model but also X's real-time data stream.

According to Gemini's official blog, Command Center's core logic is context-awareness: rather than passively responding to user queries, the system actively tailors recommendations based on trading behavior.

From Execution to Assistance: Gemini's AI Roadmap

Last month Gemini introduced AI trading features that let users connect models like ChatGPT and Claude to their trading accounts for automated market monitoring and execution. Command Center extends this strategy, shifting from trade execution to decision support.

In its Q1 earnings report released this morning, Gemini posted $50.3 million in revenue, up 42% year-over-year, while net loss narrowed 27% to $109 million. The prediction market contributed $400,000 in revenue from 20,000 users — a fraction compared to leaders Kalshi and Polymarket, but with clear momentum.

Localization Scenarios Under Regulatory Frameworks

Think of Command Center as an AI assistant that, knowing your portfolio holds TSMC or Japan ETFs, automatically surfaces U.S.-Japan trade tensions, Fed rate moves, or Taiwan inflation data. That's the ambition, though currently focused on prediction markets rather than traditional investing.

How prediction markets will be promoted and regulated in various jurisdictions remains to be watched.
