Goldman Sachs has partnered with Apex Group and Archax to debut a tokenized real estate fund that combines blockchain-native issuance with established fund structures. The fund's shares are tokenized on Goldman's proprietary GS DAP platform, marking another step in the bank's digital asset strategy.

In this arrangement, LRC Group serves as the fund manager, overseeing the underlying real estate assets. Archax acts as custodian and the first distribution partner, providing compliant access for qualified investors. Infrastructure provider Ownera connects participants and distribution channels, ensuring seamless tokenized share transfers. Apex Group supplies alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) services through Fundrock LIS, while its Luxembourg arm Apex Fund Services Luxembourg handles asset management and depositary functions.

GS DAP, previously used by Goldman for bond issuances, now underpins a real estate fund, enabling investors to hold digitized fund shares that can be traded on Archax's regulated exchange. The structure aims to bring liquidity and operational efficiency to private real estate markets.

Tokenization of real-world assets continues to attract traditional financial players, and this collaboration highlights the blending of institutional-grade infrastructure with emerging blockchain technology.
