According to Techub News, GoMining has announced the launch of the GoBTC Pay Gen1 SDK and API, making its Bitcoin payment infrastructure available to merchants and wallet providers. The release allows external companies to integrate the GoBTC Pay payment network directly into their own products and services, supporting the use of Bitcoin in everyday commercial payment flows.

Payments Settle Directly on the Bitcoin Network

GoMining said the payment system allows users to pay with Bitcoin without giving up custody of their assets. Transactions are settled directly on the Bitcoin network. For merchants and wallet providers, the SDK and API provide a way to connect to the GoBTC Pay network without building a full Bitcoin payment infrastructure independently.

The system is built on GoMining’s private 15 EH/s mempool and uses the Stratum V2 protocol. Based on the disclosed details, GoBTC Pay is expected to complete settlement in an average of 12 hours. Merchants pay a 0.2% transaction fee, and the resulting revenue is split equally between wallet providers and miners. The original information cites techstartups.com.
