BTC Options Account for $1.9 Billion in Notional Value
According to the data, 31,000 BTC options expired, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.78. The maximum pain point for BTC options was $65,000, and the total notional value stood at $1.9 billion. In options-market terminology, the Put Call Ratio compares the number of put options with call options, while maximum pain is a commonly referenced expiration-level metric.
For ETH, 138,000 options expired, with a Put Call Ratio of 1.03. The maximum pain point for ETH options was $1,725, and the notional value was $230 million. Together, the expiring BTC and ETH options totaled $2.13 billion in notional value, according to the Greeks.live figures cited by ChainCatcher.
