GWDC 2026 KOREA has announced its first panel discussion, focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence, blockchain infrastructure and traditional finance. Maria, CEO of K1 Research, will moderate the session, joined by Andrew Kang, Head of Korea at Injective, Lee Jung-hwa, Director of LG CNS, Lim Ju-young, Director of AhnLab, and SEON OH, CEO of BOOUP & UpLabs. GWDC 2026 Korea will take place on Sept. 29-30, 2026 at aT Center in Seoul, South Korea. The conference is hosted by Web3Labs, co-organized by Techub News, HypaiLabs and TokenPost, and supported by the Hong Kong-Korea Web3 Policy Promotion Alliance.

This year’s event is built around the theme “For Builders, By Builders,” with a focus on technical innovation and industrial applications across Web3, AI, on-chain infrastructure and the digital asset ecosystem.

Conference agenda and registration

According to the announcement, the conference will include keynote speeches, technical forums, project showcases, business matchmaking and a hackathon, with the stated goal of promoting developer exchange, technical collaboration, capital connections and the launch of new projects.

Registration for both the conference and the hackathon is now open. Organizers said the hackathon is expected to attract more than 500 developers from around the world, centered on real on-chain tasks, with guidance from industry mentors and judging by institutional VCs. It is also planned to generate more than 100 innovative projects.

The event will also feature startup showcases and VC matching sessions aimed at supporting global launches, liquidity growth and ecosystem building for selected projects.
