HashKey Cloud, the Web3 infrastructure arm of HashKey Group (HK.3887), said it has entered a technical partnership with Bitcoin staking infrastructure company Babylon. Under the arrangement, HashKey Cloud will integrate Babylon’s trustless Bitcoin vault and provide node operations, validation, and infrastructure support for the TBV network. The companies said the setup is designed to let native Bitcoin be used in onchain applications as a technical component without wrapping, cross-chain bridges, or intermediaries. The announcement frames the integration as a link between the Bitcoin ecosystem and Ethereum, while also expanding HashKey Cloud’s institutional-grade infrastructure offering. Babylon co-founder Fisher Yu said HashKey Cloud’s role in node and validation support should strengthen network resilience and institutional infrastructure capabilities. HashKey OnChain CEO Leo Li described the move as more than a product integration, calling it a step in connecting Bitcoin-native infrastructure with institutional systems. HashKey Cloud also said the partnership will extend to further technical integrations with custodians, wallets, and licensed exchanges.

HashKey Cloud to provide node and validation support for TBV

HashKey Cloud, a Web3 infrastructure service provider under HashKey Group (HK.3887), said it has reached a technical partnership with Bitcoin staking infrastructure company Babylon. As part of the deal, HashKey Cloud will integrate Babylon’s trustless Bitcoin vault and provide node operations, validation, and infrastructure support for the TBV network.

According to the announcement, the integration is aimed at changing how native Bitcoin can be used in onchain applications. In the past, Bitcoin holders typically had to wrap assets or rely on cross-chain bridges if they wanted to use native BTC in onchain environments. With TBV integrated, native Bitcoin can be used as a technical component in onchain applications without wrapping, bridge-based transfers, or intermediaries.

HashKey Cloud said that approach connects the Bitcoin ecosystem with Ethereum and adds to its institutional-grade infrastructure capabilities.

Executives describe the collaboration as infrastructure-focused

Babylon co-founder Fisher Yu said, 「This partnership enables HashKey Cloud to provide node and validation support within the TBV infrastructure, helping strengthen network resilience and institutional-grade infrastructure capabilities. TBV’s trustless, self-custodial design offers a technical path for exploring Bitcoin onchain applications.」

Leo Li, chief executive officer of HashKey OnChain, said, 「This is not only a technical integration, but also an important step in connecting the Bitcoin ecosystem with institutional-grade infrastructure. We are pleased to work with Babylon to provide node and infrastructure support for the TBV network and help clients access the native Bitcoin ecosystem more efficiently.」

Next steps include custodians, wallets, and licensed exchanges

HashKey Cloud said the integration also points to further technical connections with custodians, wallets, and licensed exchanges. The company said it will deepen ecosystem collaboration with Babylon and provide broader technical support for clients.
