HashKey Cloud, the Web3 infrastructure arm under HashKey Group (HK.3887), said it has entered a technical partnership with Bitcoin staking infrastructure company Babylon. Under the deal, HashKey Cloud will integrate Babylon’s trustless Bitcoin vault and provide node operations, validation, and broader infrastructure support for the TBV network. The companies said the setup is designed to let native BTC be used in onchain applications as a technical component without wrapping, cross-chain bridges, or intermediaries. The announcement also frames the integration as a link between the Bitcoin ecosystem and the Ethereum network, while expanding HashKey Cloud’s institutional-grade infrastructure capabilities. Babylon co-founder Fisher Yu said the partnership would help strengthen TBV’s resilience and institutional infrastructure capacity through HashKey Cloud’s role in node and validator support. HashKey OnChain CEO Leo Li described the move as more than a technical integration, calling it a step in connecting Bitcoin’s ecosystem with institutional infrastructure. HashKey Cloud added that the integration would deepen its technical connections with custodians, wallets, and licensed exchanges, while widening its collaboration with Babylon’s ecosystem.

The partnership centers on TBV infrastructure

According to the announcement, the integration is intended to let native Bitcoin be used in onchain applications as a technical component without wrapping, cross-chain bridges, or intermediaries.

Previously, Bitcoin holders who wanted to use native BTC in onchain applications typically had to wrap the asset or move it through a cross-chain bridge. With TBV integrated, the companies said native Bitcoin can be used without those steps.

HashKey Cloud said the setup links the Bitcoin ecosystem with the Ethereum network and adds to its institutional-grade infrastructure service stack.

Executives outline the role of the collaboration

Babylon co-founder Fisher Yu said, “This partnership allows HashKey Cloud to provide node and validation support within TBV infrastructure, helping improve network resilience and institutional-grade infrastructure capabilities. TBV’s trustless, self-custodial design offers a technical path for exploring onchain Bitcoin applications.”

Leo Li, CEO of HashKey OnChain, said, “This is not only a technical integration, but also an important step in connecting the Bitcoin ecosystem with institutional-grade infrastructure. We are pleased to work with Babylon to provide node and infrastructure support for the TBV network and help clients access the native Bitcoin ecosystem more efficiently.”

HashKey Cloud says the integration broadens technical connectivity

For HashKey Cloud, the company said the integration also points to deeper technical connections with custodians, wallets, and licensed exchanges. It also expands the company’s ecosystem collaboration with Babylon and is meant to give clients more complete technical support.

About Babylon

Babylon is building Bitcoin staking infrastructure on the Bitcoin network. According to the company description in the announcement, its infrastructure is designed to allow native Bitcoin to be used as collateral on any chain and in any application, supporting use cases including lending, stablecoins, insurance, derivatives, and real-world assets. Babylon said its trustless Bitcoin vault is built to achieve that without wrapping, cross-chain bridges, or intermediaries.
