HashKey Holdings Limited (3887.HK) said its licensed exchange platform, HashKey Exchange, has entered into a partnership with Franklin Templeton to distribute the asset manager’s flagship tokenized money market fund, the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (grBENJI), to digital asset investors in Asia.

The companies said the product went live on HashKey Exchange’s wealth management channel on Aug. 24, 2026. According to the announcement, grBENJI uses blockchain-based infrastructure to give eligible digital asset investors access to the fund. The fund mainly invests in U.S. government money market instruments and U.S. dollar cash assets.
Push into regulated digital asset markets in Asia
The announcement said market participants have shown growing interest in yield-bearing tools backed by real-world assets, or RWA, as the digital asset ecosystem evolves. The partnership is presented as a move linking traditional financial markets with regulated digital asset infrastructure, while also extending Franklin Templeton’s tokenized fund offering into compliant digital asset markets across Asia.
For HashKey Exchange, the partnership adds a regulated tokenized investment product and deepens ties with a global asset manager, reinforcing its Earn ecosystem. The two companies said Franklin Templeton’s global investment experience, combined with HashKey Exchange’s regulated digital asset infrastructure, is intended to create a compliant and scalable channel for institutional and professional investors seeking tokenized financial products from established global asset managers.
Building on the launch of grBENJI, the companies said they will continue exploring ways to expand access to tokenized products across additional markets and asset classes, while keeping their focus on transparent and compliant RWA solutions.
