HashKey Exchange has entered a deep partnership with crypto data platform RootData, with the first rollout already live on HashKey’s Hong Kong platform. Users can now open a token detail page and directly view project introductions, official website and social media links, plus fundraising history and amounts supplied through RootData API. HashKey Exchange said its other sites will also complete the integration in stages.
Licensed exchange teams up with a crypto data platform
HashKey Exchange is a licensed virtual asset trading platform. The report said it holds Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 7 (providing automated trading services) licenses approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, and also holds a virtual asset trading platform license regulated under the Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance. It is described as one of the first licensed exchanges in Hong Kong open to retail investors.
RootData, for its part, is presented as one of the more established and influential data platforms in the crypto industry. Since its launch in 2022, the company has focused on industry transparency and data standardization. As of now, RootData says it has indexed nearly 20,000 crypto projects, more than 20,000 industry figures, and tens of thousands of fundraising records. Its API has more than 200 partners spanning exchanges, wallets, security audit firms, institutions, data platforms, AI products, and media.
Token pages now carry project, team, and fundraising information
The center of the partnership is the full integration of RootData API into HashKey Exchange. With that connection in place, users can access detailed project descriptions, financing records, team member information, and calendar events from the token detail page on the exchange.
The article frames that as a change in workflow for users who previously had to move between several platforms: checking price and trading pairs on an exchange, then opening a separate third-party data service to look up project background, team details, and funding history. With the new setup, those materials are available inside the same interface.
RootData said its data quality process combines long-term tracking of tens of thousands of LinkedIn and Twitter entries with user submissions, AI agent collection and organization, and manual verification. That structure, according to the report, is intended to keep information accurate and current for users making trading decisions on HashKey Exchange.
Distribution expands across RootData’s partner network
The cooperation also broadens distribution for RootData. The report said project teams can claim and maintain their profiles through RootData’s project information management system, after which the data can be synchronized through RootData’s API network to more than 200 partners, including HashKey Exchange.
RootData’s existing API partner list, as cited in the article, includes Binance, OKX Wallet, Gate, TokenPocket, Ethereum Foundation, CertiK, Blockworks, and Amber Group. HashKey Exchange’s addition, together with the deeper integration, extends another channel for those project records to reach both professional investors and retail users.
Expansion planned for other HashKey sites
For now, the integration has been completed on HashKey Hong Kong. The article said the partnership will gradually expand to HashKey Exchange’s other global sites. As that rollout proceeds, RootData’s project introductions, official links, social media references, and fundraising records will become available to a broader HashKey user base.
The partnership centers on embedding project data directly into the trading environment. For HashKey Exchange users, that means more project information is available from the token page itself. For RootData, it adds a Hong Kong licensed virtual asset trading platform to its API distribution network as a deeply integrated partner.
