HashKey Exchange said some fiat deposit and withdrawal channels in Hong Kong are being affected by the U.S. Columbus Day holiday. According to the exchange, USD fiat deposits and withdrawals through RTGS, the local payment network, and TT wire transfers have been temporarily suspended, with transactions remaining pending for now. Bank processing is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, and settlement may also take longer than usual.
HashKey said other services will continue to operate during the holiday period. FPS, or the Faster Payment System, eDDA, and Book Transfer remain available and support Hong Kong dollar, U.S. dollar, offshore renminbi, and euro transactions. The exchange advised users to prioritize FPS, eDDA, or Book Transfer for fiat top-ups during the holiday window in order to keep funds moving more efficiently.
