Hong Kong-listed autonomous driving stocks rallied on Thursday after Tesla announced that its Cybercab, a fully autonomous electric vehicle, has begun commercial operations in Austin, Texas. Shares of Youjia Innovation jumped over 10%, while Hesai Technology, Pony.ai, and Baidu also posted gains.

Shares of Hong Kong-listed autonomous driving companies surged on Thursday after Tesla announced that its Cybercab, a fully autonomous electric vehicle, has begun commercial operations in Austin, Texas.

According to data from Bitget, Youjia Innovation (02431.HK) jumped over 10%, Hesai Technology (02525.HK) rose over 8%, Pony.ai (02026.HK) gained over 7%, Baidu (09888.HK) advanced over 5%, and RoboSense (02498.HK) added over 4%.

Tesla said the Cybercab operates without a steering wheel, pedals, or rearview mirrors, aiming to offer higher efficiency for transportation needs.
