Hong Kong Stocks Close Mixed; Developers, Metals Gain While PCB and AI Names Slip

Hong Kong's benchmark indexes closed mixed in the latest session. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.07%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.33%, according to Gate market data as reported by ChainCatcher. Chinese real estate developers led the advance. Sunac China jumped more than 10%, CIFI Holdings added over 5%, and both Country Garden and China Vanke rose more than 2%. The nonferrous metals sector was also firm, with China Nonferrous Mining up over 4%, Tianqi Lithium up more than 3%, and Aluminum Corp. of China up more than 3%. On the downside, PCB and memory names sold off. Shenghong Technology fell nearly 13%, Xinqi Weizhuang lost over 8%, and Zhaoyi Innovation plus Montage Technology each declined more than 5%. Large-model concept stocks slipped as well, with Zhipu down over 6% and MINIMAX-W down more than 4%.
