During the opening ceremony, HTX advisor Justin Sun delivered a keynote via video. He emphasized that AI agents will replace traditional user interfaces and become the primary interaction mode for the Web3 ecosystem. Sun noted that past Web3 applications suffered from steep learning curves and fragmented on-chain operations. AI agents can autonomously interpret user intentions via natural language, plan execution paths, and complete cross-chain settlements, significantly lowering barriers to entry and driving mass adoption.
$10M Ecosystem Fund: Three-Stage Precision Empowerment
HTX DAO ambassador Molly unveiled the $10 million USDT ecosystem development fund with a three-tier precision disbursement mechanism: Tier 1 for early innovation milestones; Tier 2 as convertible grants for business growth; Tier 3 as follow-up incentives for outstanding ecosystems. This ensures comprehensive support from cold start to commercial maturity.
Molly also outlined the five-pillar ecosystem matrix: HTX as the core business engine and liquidity source; HTX DAO as the governance hub; TRON providing underlying payment infrastructure, with JustLend and SunX building the DeFi layer; HTX Ventures focusing on frontier investment and incubation; and B.AI constructing financial infrastructure for the AI agent era.

The hackathon will run from April to July 2026, attracting approximately 100 development teams worldwide. Final presentations and selection will take place in Hong Kong. Winning projects receive not only prize incentives but also multidimensional support from TRON, HTX, and B.AI, including computing resources, technical integration, ecosystem networking, and joint marketing campaigns.
