Crypto prices pushed higher in Asian morning trading Friday, with Hyperliquid’s HYPE posting the strongest move among major tokens, according to CoinDesk data. HYPE rose more than 11% to nearly $89, while Zcash’s ZEC gained 8% to about $1,472 and Solana’s SOL added 6% to just above $106. BNB and DOGE were each up around 4%, and XRP, ether and bitcoin rose 2%. TRX lagged the group with a gain of less than 1%.
Bitcoin traded just below $78,000 after touching $75,972 during U.S. hours, erasing its overnight decline and extending gains for a third straight day. Total crypto market capitalization climbed 2% to roughly $2.66 trillion. FxPro chief market analyst Alex Kuptsikevich said none of the 40 most liquid coins fell during the period, adding that traders are "cautiously shifting their focus towards altcoins" even as the altcoin season index remains subdued. In that basket, NEAR rose 30%, UNI gained 26% and APT advanced 18%. Kuptsikevich also said bitcoin is approaching the upper end of its established trading range near $82,000, though profit-taking ahead of the weekend could delay any test of that level.

Bitcoin recovers from U.S.-hours dip
Bitcoin traded just below $78,000 after touching $75,972 during U.S. hours. The move erased the full overnight drop and marked a third consecutive day of gains. Total crypto market value rose 2% to about $2.66 trillion.
Altcoins strengthen across the most liquid names
According to FxPro chief market analyst Alex Kuptsikevich, none of the 40 most liquid coins declined over the period. He said traders are "cautiously shifting their focus towards altcoins" even though the altcoin season index remains subdued.
Within that group, NEAR led with a 30% gain, followed by UNI at 26% and APT at 18%.
Risk appetite improves as bitcoin nears range resistance
The advance came as equities moved higher and risk appetite improved more broadly, one day after the Federal Reserve’s quarter-point rate hike was absorbed without the reaction traditional markets had been bracing for.
Kuptsikevich said bitcoin is now facing the upper edge of its established trading range near $82,000. He expects profit-taking ahead of the weekend to delay any attempt to reach that level.
