HYPE climbed from $28 to $35 before profit-taking pushed it lower, then rebounded to $33. AVAX remains under $12, with traders watching whether $11.42 support can hold for a move toward $13.10.

HYPE Coin surged from $28 to $35, then met a round of profit-taking that pushed the price down to $31 before a rebound to $33. The near-term setup is clear. Traders are watching whether HYPE can retest $35 or whether renewed selling sends it back toward lower support zones.

Hyperliquid is central to that move. The platform brought the familiar interface style of centralized crypto exchanges into DeFi, letting users trade spot and futures directly from their own wallets instead of depositing funds onto an exchange. Interest in that model picked up after the collapse of FTX, and by 2023 Hyperliquid had already captured a meaningful share of the market.

Gold and silver pairs added to the Hyperliquid story

The article points to one feature that set Hyperliquid apart from other platforms: the addition of gold and silver trading on its decentralized venue. Those pairs reportedly generated very large profits for the platform. Against that backdrop, the rise in HYPE was not treated as a surprise. The piece also says Binance founder CZ and other major market participants have taken notice of this shift, while alternatives such as Aster are appearing more often.

On price levels, the article says HYPE could extend the rally toward $50 if selling pressure weakens during fresh resistance tests. If profit-taking strengthens again, the coin could retreat to $28 and $26, with the $22-$21 area marked as a deeper support zone. For now, the key battleground remains around $35.

AVAX stays pinned below $12

Avalanche, by contrast, is still struggling to gain traction. The article looks back to 2021, when buying AVAX near its lows during its first major bull run proved profitable and competition among layer-1 networks was far less intense. In the latest bearish stretch, though, AVAX fell behind, weighed down by double-digit token inflation and a community that the article says never matched Solana’s scale.

AVAX is currently still trading below $12. According to Ali Martinez, Avalanche could target $13.10 in the short term as long as support at $11.42 remains intact. Even so, the article argues that AVAX faces deeper issues, and says that despite activity in the RWA segment, it lacks the kind of positive divergence that has supported HYPE, leaving the case for a major rally less convincing.
