On June 3, wallet tracking service Coinbob detected that the largest Bitcoin short position on decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid, under the address pension-usdt.eth, closed its 1,400 BTC short contract. The position was valued at approximately $93.86 million, resulting in a profit of $3.32 million. The move extended the whale’s winning streak to 21 consecutive trades and pushed total profits past $36 million. Immediately after, the trader shifted into a 3x leveraged short position on 50,000 ETH, worth around $92.68 million.

21-Streak Record and Massive Profits

As of now, the wallet has achieved 21 consecutive profitable trades with total profits exceeding $36 million. The on-chain address 0x0ddf9bae2af4b874b96d287a5ad42eb47138a902 holds a fully transparent record on Hyperliquid, available for anyone to verify. The streak includes multiple asset switches and both long and short trades, all ending in gains.

This consistent performance has turned the address into one of the most-followed whales in the crypto community. Its cumulative profit of over $36 million surpasses the annual returns of many small and medium-sized trading funds, demonstrating the potential of individual traders in decentralized markets.

BTC Short Recap and Swift Pivot to ETH

The BTC short was opened on April 1 at an average entry price of $69,423. Despite the position ballooning to over $100 million at its peak and sitting in the red for two months, the trader never reduced the position. The trade only moved into profit for the first time last night, at which point it was closed immediately, locking in $3.32 million.

After closing the BTC short, the whale immediately opened a 3x short on 50,000 ETH, which already shows a floating profit of about $1.07 million. All positions remain fully visible on Hyperliquid, and market participants can verify the entire trading history via Hyperliquid’s public interface. The community can track the whale’s next move at address 0x0ddf9bae2af4b874b96d287a5ad42eb47138a902.
