Hyperliquid said on X that it has rolled out trailing stop functionality for its perpetual futures market. The feature adjusts the trigger price in a direction favorable to the position as the mark price moves. Once the mark price pulls back from its best level by a user-defined number of points or percentage, the system sends a market order. For long positions, the trigger tracks the highest mark price reached after the feature is enabled; for short positions, it tracks the lowest mark price reached after activation. Users can also set an optional activation price to decide when trailing begins. If no activation price is set, the trailing mechanism starts immediately from the current mark price.

Hyperliquid said on X that it has launched trailing stop functionality for its perpetual futures market.

According to the announcement, the trigger price moves with the mark price in a direction favorable to the position. When the mark price retraces from its best level by a preset number of points or percentage, the system triggers a market order.

For long positions, the trigger follows the highest mark price reached after the feature is turned on. For short positions, it follows the lowest mark price reached after activation. Users can also set an optional activation price to determine when trailing starts. If no activation price is set, trailing begins immediately from the current mark price.
