Long positions account for $2.02 billion, representing 49.62% of the total, while short positions amount to $2.051 billion, representing 50.38%. Based on the figures provided, the short side is slightly larger than the long side in both dollar value and share of total whale positions.

Long-Short PnL and a Noted ETH Whale Address

The same Coinglass data shows that whale long positions have a profit and loss figure of negative $155 million, while whale short positions have a profit and loss figure of $90.2698 million. These figures indicate a clear difference between the reported PnL of long and short positions under the current data snapshot, while overall whale exposure on Hyperliquid remains above $4 billion.

Among the positions highlighted, whale address 0x0ddf..02 opened a 3x full-margin short position on ETH at a price of $1,810.16. The address currently has an unrealized profit and loss figure of $8.6558 million. This address was specifically included in the data note, showing that its ETH short position is separately recorded within the Hyperliquid whale position statistics.
