Hyperscale Data, Inc. has crossed a key milestone in its digital asset strategy: as of April 20, 2026, its Bitcoin holdings reached approximately $50.3 million, based on a closing price of $75,872. The company holds a combined total of about 663.31 BTC from both mining and market purchases, placing it more than halfway toward its stated goal of a $100 million treasury.

The firm positions Bitcoin as a core balance sheet asset while building a platform that integrates AI infrastructure, digital assets, and robotics. Data from BitcoinTreasuries.net ranks Hyperscale Data as the 57th largest corporate Bitcoin holder. Collectively, corporations now control roughly 1.12 million BTC, valued at over $92 billion at current prices.

Mining and Market Purchases Drive Accumulation; Sentinum Holds 602 BTC

The Bitcoin treasury is split between two wholly owned subsidiaries: Sentinum, Inc. and Ault Capital Group, Inc. Sentinum holds the majority—about 602.79 BTC—which includes 162.55 BTC generated from mining operations and 440.23 BTC purchased on the open market. Ault Capital Group holds approximately 60.53 BTC and added about 13.2 BTC through market purchases in the week ending April 19.

Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III said surpassing the $50 million mark for a second time underscores the company's conviction in Bitcoin as a long-term treasury asset. He added that Hyperscale Data will continue building its position through both mining output and direct market acquisitions.

Strategy Adds 34,164 BTC Same Day; Corporate Hoarding Trend Continues

On April 20, Strategy—led by Michael Saylor—disclosed the acquisition of an additional 34,164 BTC, valued at approximately $2.54 billion, while adjusting its dividend payout structure. The move reinforces the broader trend of major corporations increasing Bitcoin exposure.

Shifting to AI Infrastructure; Ault Capital Divestiture Planned for 2027

Hyperscale Data intends to deploy all capital allocated to its digital asset treasury strategy into Bitcoin over time. This aligns with its operational focus, particularly through Sentinum, which operates data center infrastructure supporting both crypto mining and AI-driven workloads.

The company also outlined long-term structural plans: it expects to divest Ault Capital Group in the second quarter of 2027. After the divestiture, Hyperscale Data would focus on operating data centers for high-performance computing while maintaining its digital asset holdings. Until then, Ault Capital Group continues to oversee a diversified portfolio spanning AI software, social gaming, equipment rental, aerospace and defense, industrial services, automotive, biopharma, and hospitality, along with private credit and structured finance.

The move reflects a wider shift among crypto treasury firms expanding into AI and high-performance computing. Marathon Digital Holdings recently acquired a 64% stake in Exaion to gain a foothold in Europe, showing how firms diversify beyond pure Bitcoin accumulation into compute-driven growth.
