iAero Protocol, a liquid staking protocol built on Base, today announced the launch of Token Sweeper, a tool enabling users to swap multiple tokens in a single transaction. The protocol also kicked off Season 1, a six-month campaign distributing 5% of the LIQ token supply to iAERO stakers.
How iAero Protocol Works
Users deposit AERO or veAERO and receive liquid iAERO tokens, retaining exposure to Aerodrome voting rewards while maintaining liquidity. Unlike traditional vote-escrowed models that lock capital, iAero allows unstaking at any time without penalties. The protocol channels 88% of all revenue — from Aerodrome voting rewards, bribes, and trading fees — to iAERO and LIQ stakers. Current staking yields stand at approximately 35% APR, sourced entirely from protocol revenue.
Token Sweeper Features
- Batch swap multiple tokens into USDC or WETH in a single transaction
- Routes through over 100 DEXs via aggregation for optimal execution
- Automatically filters spam tokens using updated blocklists
- Simulates transactions before execution
The tool supports nine blockchains: Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Scroll, and Linea. Protocol fee is 0.05%.
Season 1 Incentive Campaign
Season 1 awards 1 point per iAERO staked per day over six months. At the end, 5% of LIQ's fully diluted value will be distributed pro-rata based on accumulated points. A public leaderboard tracks participant standings. The campaign rewards sustained staking while remaining accessible to newcomers throughout the season.
By aggregating user deposits into a collectively managed veAERO position on Aerodrome — Base's leading DEX — iAero enables smaller depositors to access yields typically reserved for large veAERO holders. Base, developed by Coinbase, has established a strong Layer 2 presence, and Aerodrome generates significant daily volume, creating fee revenue for veAERO holders.
