NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2025 — Invictus Pharmacy, a pharmacist-founded and nationally licensed pharmacy network, announced today it will begin accepting cryptocurrency as payment from patients, marking the first time a nationwide pharmacy embraces digital assets in its payment infrastructure. Starting immediately, Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP (Ripple) are accepted at all Invictus retail locations. Online crypto payments will go live on January 1, 2026 via InvictusPharmacy.com.
Beyond Payment: Rewiring the Pharmacy Benefit Model
The move is the first phase of a larger technological push by parent company Invictus Ventures Inc., which is developing a blockchain-based payment infrastructure tailored for the U.S. prescription drug market. The platform aims to enable instant, transparent, and auditable transactions among payers, manufacturers, pharmacies, and patients. Founder and CEO Meyer Davidoff criticized Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) as “central toll collectors” that obscure true drug costs and delay reimbursements. “Accepting cryptocurrency is the first step toward building a faster and more transparent payment network that links patients, pharmacies, and manufacturers with far fewer barriers,” he said.
Seamless User Experience and Open Industry Call
COO Alan Oustaev emphasized that paying with crypto will feel as simple as using a smartphone or credit card, both in-store and online. Davidoff also urged drug manufacturers, wholesalers, and payers to add cryptocurrency to their balance sheets and explore digital asset integration. The forthcoming blockchain network, once fully deployed, is expected to cut claim processing times from weeks to seconds, setting a new efficiency benchmark in U.S. healthcare payments.
Over 1 Million Patients Served, DTC Pioneer
Invictus Pharmacy, managed by Invictus Ventures Inc. and founded in 2017, operates retail outlets, a licensed mail-order pharmacy, a proprietary e-commerce platform, and claims adjudication technology. It has served more than one million patients. The company was among the first to adopt a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) model for manufacturing partners, bypassing traditional intermediaries. By adding crypto payment options and blockchain-enabled claims transparency, Invictus aims to lower costs and expand access in a next-generation pharmacy model.
