Liquid Capital founder JackYi said in a post on X that expectations for a rate hike have created a split in market views. He outlined two possible scenarios for Bitcoin. In the first, if a rate hike actually happens, BTC could fall below $76,000 in the short term, then continue to trade in a lower range before moving higher later. In the second, if no rate hike takes place, the market could keep rising. JackYi said spot exposure without leverage is the best approach. He also shared what he sees as several opportunities over the next three years. According to his post, spot holdings in major assets such as BTC and ETH could deliver roughly 4x returns, while active swing trading may target 10x. He added that trading infrastructure still has 100x potential because trading remains the core demand in blockchain. JackYi also pointed to what CZ has defined as IPOs, referring to real quality assets brought on-chain through stocks and IPOs. In his view, the old white-paper token model will be completely phased out.

PANews reported on Sept. 12 that Liquid Capital founder JackYi said in a post on X that market expectations around a rate hike have led to a split in views on where prices go next.

He described two possible paths. If a rate hike does happen, Bitcoin could drop below $76,000 in the short term, keep trading in a lower range for a period, and then move up later. If there is no rate hike, the market may continue higher.

On positioning, JackYi said spot exposure without leverage is the best choice.

He also listed several opportunities he sees over the next three years: about 4x returns for spot BTC and ETH, with 10x as a target for those able to capture swings; 100x potential in trading infrastructure because trading is still the core demand of blockchain; and what CZ has defined as IPOs, meaning genuinely high-quality assets brought on-chain through stocks and IPOs. He added that the old white-paper token model will completely fade out.
