According to monitoring by EmberCN, Jeffrey Huang, better known in the crypto market as Machi Big Brother, turned roughly $150,000 into about $11.15 million by rolling leveraged long positions during last week’s one-way rally in digital assets. The gain reduced part of his earlier losses after a difficult stretch in ETH trades.
The data cited by BlockBeats said Huang had accumulated about $35 million in losses from long ETH positions over the past 10 months. After the latest rebound, that historical loss narrowed to around $24 million. Earlier on-chain data had also shown that his cumulative losses were still in the tens of millions of dollars.
At present, Huang is holding long positions worth about $129 million across ETH, BTC, HYPE and PUMP, with overall leverage at roughly 12x. EmberCN’s observation, as relayed by BlockBeats, also noted that if the market keeps extending its one-way rise, the previously reported $35 million loss could narrow more quickly. If prices shift into choppy trading or decline, the same high-leverage rolling strategy could also give back the roughly $11 million profit from this round.
Jeffrey Huang, known as Machi Big Brother, made roughly $11 million during last week’s one-way crypto rally by rolling leveraged long positions, according to monitoring from EmberCN cited by BlockBeats on Aug. 24.
The tracked positions showed that Huang turned about $150,000 into roughly $11.15 million, cutting into losses from his earlier ETH trades. Over the past 10 months, he had accumulated about $35 million in losses from long ETH positions. After this latest gain, that historical loss narrowed to around $24 million.
Earlier on-chain data had also indicated that his cumulative historical losses were still in the tens of millions of dollars.
Huang is currently holding long positions worth about $129 million across ETH, BTC, HYPE and PUMP, with overall leverage at about 12x.
If the market continues the same one-way upward move, the previously reported roughly $35 million loss could narrow further at a fast pace. If trading turns range-bound or moves lower, the high-leverage rolling strategy could quickly give back the roughly $11 million profit from this round.
