Jeffrey Tchui, Executive Director for Asia-Pacific at Hashgraph (Hedera), has been confirmed for GWDC 2026 KOREA, according to Techub News.
Tchui currently serves as Executive Director, APAC, at Hashgraph. The announcement said he is focused on expanding the Hedera ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region, promoting enterprise use of decentralized technology, and building cross-industry ecosystem partnerships. Techub News also described him as having experience in distributed ledger technology, enterprise blockchain deployment, and capital markets, with work tied to scaling decentralized technology in real business settings.
Event schedule and venue
GWDC 2026 KOREA is set to take place on Sept. 29-30, 2026, at aT Center in Seoul, South Korea. Tchui is expected to join government and business leaders, industry participants, and developers at the event to share views on Web3 and AI.

The conference is organized by Web3Labs, with Techub News, HypaiLabs, and TokenPost listed as co-organizers. It is also supported by the Hong Kong-Korea Web3 Policy Promotion Alliance.

Organizers said the conference is built around the theme “For Builders, By Builders,” with a focus on technological innovation and industry applications across Web3, AI, on-chain infrastructure, and the digital asset ecosystem. The agenda includes keynote speeches, technical forums, project showcases, business matchmaking, and a hackathon aimed at developer exchange, technical collaboration, capital connections, and project execution.
Registration for the conference and its hackathon is already open. Organizers said the hackathon is expected to attract more than 500 developers from around the world, centered on real on-chain tasks. It will include industry mentors and institutional VC judges, and is planned to produce more than 100 innovation projects. The event will also feature project showcases and VC matching.
