Jiang Zhuoer, founder of mining pool B.TOP, said on Sept. 8 that Bitcoin had just fallen and that the Coinbase Bitcoin premium remained in negative territory, with losses still widening. Based on that setup, he said he expects spot Bitcoin ETFs to post fund outflows in the next day’s data, referring to the current U.S. stock market trading session. He also cautioned that ETF flow data is delayed. In his view, trading on ETF figures is like driving while looking in the rearview mirror. Even so, he said ETF inflow and outflow data remains highly important and must continue to be watched. The remarks were cited by BlockBeats in a brief market update.

BlockBeats reported on Sept. 8 that Jiang Zhuoer, founder of mining pool B.TOP, said Bitcoin had just moved lower, while the Coinbase Bitcoin premium stayed negative and losses continued to widen. On that basis, he said he expects spot Bitcoin ETFs to record fund outflows in the next day’s figures, referring to the current U.S. stock market trading day.

Jiang added that ETF data comes with a delay. He said trading on ETF data is like 「looking in the rearview mirror while driving」, but added that ETF inflows and outflows remain very important and therefore still need close attention.
