Jiang Zhuoer, founder of Lepool and an early Bitcoin miner, announced via X that he has repurchased his entire Ethereum (ETH) position at an average price of around $1,645. He had previously sold out when ETH was trading in the $2,200 – $2,400 range. Lepool is a well-known Bitcoin mining pool, and Jiang’s trading moves are often watched by the community.
Jiang noted that Bitcoin (BTC) remains in a downtrend, but the $61,000 support level has held twice without breaking, suggesting a near-term bounce. He therefore bought back ETH to capture that expected move. According to his plan, if the market rebounds within 1 to 3 days, he will sell the position again at higher levels, executing a short-term swing trade.
The move reflects a tactical approach based on technical levels rather than a shift in long-term market outlook.
