JTX, the Solana ecosystem trading platform backed by Jito Foundation, is preparing several product rollouts over the coming months, according to comments from Jito Foundation President Brian Smith during an interview with The Starting Block at Digital Asset Summit 2026 Asia. Smith said the platform plans to add stock trading within the next two weeks, while a native mobile app is scheduled for later this fall. Perpetual futures integration is expected later, with Smith saying it may not arrive until later this winter.
Smith said the team is currently focused on differentiating JTX’s spot offering. The platform launched in July and already supports spot trading for cbBTC, SOL, HYPE and meme coins, alongside tokenized stocks and ETFs. JTX charges a fee on each trade, with 80% of revenue allocated to Jito DAO for JTO buybacks and burns, and the remaining 20% going to referrers. Smith did not disclose trading volume since launch, but said the team is moving quickly on product iteration and has two full-time data scientists analyzing on-chain data to build in-app discovery features.

Spot trading, tokenized stocks and ETFs already live
JTX went live in July. The platform currently supports spot trading for cbBTC, SOL, HYPE and meme coins, and also offers tokenized stocks and ETFs.
JTX charges a fee on each trade. Of that revenue, 80% is allocated to Jito DAO for JTO buybacks and burns, while the remaining 20% goes to referrers.
Smith did not disclose trading volume
Smith did not share JTX’s trading volume since launch. He instead pointed to the pace of product iteration and said the team has two full-time data scientists mining on-chain data to build discovery features inside the app.
Aiming to be a permissionless Robinhood on Solana
Smith described JTX as a 「permissionless Robinhood」 for Solana, focused on longer holding periods and competitive fees. He added that other Solana apps tend to lean more toward early-stage meme coin trading.
Perpetuals remain a later step
On perpetual futures, Smith said Solana still has 「a lot of work to do」. He also credited Hyperliquid with helping move centralized exchange traders on-chain, and said Solana is 「king」 in spot trading.
