Jupiter said Polymarket will come to Solana through its platform, marking the prediction market giant’s first integration with the network. At the same time, Jupiter disclosed a $35 million strategic investment from ParaFi Capital. The deal will be settled at spot price in Jupiter’s dollar-pegged stablecoin JupUSD, and ParaFi said it will maintain a long-term lockup of JUP tokens.
Prediction markets move to the center of Jupiter’s roadmap
In a post on X, Jupiter wrote that Polymarket’s first arrival on Solana will happen on Jupiter, allowing users to trade prediction markets on a single onchain platform. Pseudonymous co-founder meow said “Jupiter Predict” will be one of the team’s major priorities over the next year.
The roadmap described in the source includes development of prediction market APIs, a full rebuild of discovery tools, stronger data for individual markets, and new trading mechanisms. Jupiter has not released a launch date for the integration, and it has not shared technical details on how the rollout will be handled.
Jupiter’s existing scale gives the move weight
Data cited from DefiLlama shows Jupiter with about $2.35 billion in total value locked, nearly $650 million in annualized fee revenue, and roughly $150 million in annualized protocol revenue. Those figures place Jupiter among the most important pieces of Solana DeFi infrastructure and show why adding prediction markets could matter for the platform’s business mix.
The sector is attracting more capital and competition
The source says prediction markets have regained strong market attention over the past year. In January 2026, global prediction market volume surpassed $12 billion, setting a record high. Major players are also expanding at the same time.
Polymarket remains the leading name in the segment and continues to attract liquidity and attention. Kalshi is also deepening its Solana push by tokenizing “thousands” of betting markets. According to the source, Kalshi completed a $1 billion raise last month at a $11 billion post-money valuation and signed a multi-year exclusive partnership with CNBC.
From one partner to a broader aggregation strategy
Before this Polymarket integration, Jupiter had already worked with Kalshi on a prediction market beta, using the F1 Mexico Grand Prix as its first live test market. Bringing in Polymarket suggests Jupiter is expanding beyond a single-partner model and moving toward an open prediction market aggregation platform.
With Polymarket joining through Jupiter, Kalshi tokenizing markets on Solana, and Jupiter building out its own Predict product line, Solana is taking on a larger role in the infrastructure stack for prediction markets. For Jupiter, the category is being positioned alongside token swapping as another core business pillar.
