Jupiter has rolled out Forecast, a new native prediction market mechanism on Solana, describing it as the first fully native prediction market on the network. In its June 4, 2026 announcement, the platform said the product uses a competing market maker liquidity model designed to deliver better pricing and execution. The first testing phase will focus on 15-minute crypto markets.
Competing market makers replace the single-pool structure
Most prediction markets rely on a single liquidity pool. Forecast takes a different route. Jupiter said users will be able to buy prediction shares from multiple market makers competing against one another, instead of trading against one shared pool. Any proprietary automated market maker, or Prop AMM, can quote on markets it wants to support, and the system routes orders in the background to the participant offering the best price.
The mechanism is being integrated directly into Jupiter’s existing prediction section. Jupiter’s message is straightforward: adding another liquidity layer is meant to improve trade execution and pricing quality for users taking positions in these markets.
Jupiter says Polymarket partnership remains in place
Jupiter also moved to clarify how Forecast fits into the broader prediction market sector. The company said it will continue working closely with Polymarket and keep supporting its markets. Forecast, in Jupiter’s framing, is not being introduced as a replacement for that relationship, but as another source of market liquidity and another option for users.
That positioning matters because it shows Jupiter is expanding market infrastructure inside the Solana ecosystem rather than presenting the launch as a break from existing collaborations.
Native tokens for each market and a short-term test plan
Under the Forecast design, each prediction market will have its own native token. Jupiter said this structure should make integrations easier for partners and improve DeFi composability across the Solana ecosystem. The product is being presented not only as a trading venue, but also as infrastructure that other on-chain applications may be able to plug into more easily.
For the initial phase, Jupiter plans to start with 15-minute crypto market predictions, targeting very short-duration price moves. The platform is also calling for professional market makers interested in quoting on these markets to get in touch as it prepares for broader expansion.
