Layer 1 blockchain Kaia said it will open its first Contribution Reward, or CR, Mission, asking participants to pair native USDT on Kaia with KAIA at a ratio of 1 USDT to 10 KAIA. The early deposit window is scheduled to open on July 16. Foresight News noted that Kaia revised its tokenomics in March this year, replacing its Proposal Reward, or PR, system with the Contribution Reward system. Under the updated structure, participants, mainly governance council members and delegators, are required to provide substantial USDT liquidity alongside their participation. According to the report, the design is aimed at supporting the buildout of DeFi infrastructure on Kaia. The update ties the upcoming CR Mission to the broader tokenomics change introduced earlier this year.
