KGI Bank’s crypto rewards card has reached its first anniversary, and exchange partner BitoPro says users aged 30 to 49 account for 76% of cardholders redeeming reward points for cryptocurrencies. The card has also added BITO and USDC, bringing the total number of supported digital assets to five.
Ages 30 to 49 dominate point-to-crypto redemptions
According to BitoPro, the user base for the card is no longer centered mainly on younger crypto participants. Instead, the 30-to-49 age group has become the main force behind point redemptions into crypto. The company said this segment shows strong trading activity and steady growth in holdings, suggesting that many users are treating reward-point conversions as part of longer-term asset allocation rather than a one-off experiment.
The card allows users to convert credit card reward points into major cryptocurrencies. In the release, the product was presented as a more direct way to gain exposure to digital assets through daily spending, linking ordinary card use with crypto accumulation.
BITO and USDC join the list of supported assets
The latest update adds BITO, the platform token of BitoPro, and USDC, a U.S. dollar stablecoin. BitoPro said BITO can be used to offset trading fees and connects with applications inside its platform. USDC was described as the world’s second-largest dollar stablecoin by issuance. Alongside BTC, ETH, and USDT, the card now supports redemption into BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and BITO.
BitoPro also said its promotion for new card users remains in place, including a 5 USDT deposit reward, while new KGI users can receive up to an additional 50% bonus on point redemption offers.
BitoPro keeps pushing crypto use into everyday finance
BitoPro said it had already launched a point-for-crypto service with FamilyMart in 2021, part of its effort to connect digital assets with consumer spending and everyday financial use cases. BitoGroup founder and CEO Cheng Kuang-Tai said demand for virtual asset applications is rising as the sector connects more closely with mainstream finance. He added that the company is in talks with financial institutions and large enterprises on services including point-to-crypto programs, stablecoin settlement, and crypto payments.
