Tyler "Trainwreckstv" Niknam, co-owner of the streaming platform Kick, suffered a record losing streak in his comeback gambling streams, losing more than $10 million across two sessions. The 35-year-old streamer confirmed on X that his sponsorship payment from Stake, the Curacao-licensed crypto casino where he streams, has been completely exhausted, forcing him to use personal savings to continue betting.
Return After Three Months Ends in Disaster
Returning from a three-month hiatus, Trainwreckstv jumped straight into his trademark high-stakes gambling streams on Stake. He hemorrhaged over $10 million in two sessions, with a $4 million Keno win only partially offsetting the losses. On April 1, he posted on X: "This has to be the worst I've ever ran in my entire career. Pay is gone, it's all personal now. I need something crazy or it's going to be a very sad stream."
Trainwreckstv built his following between 2018 and 2022 by broadcasting marathon gambling sessions on Twitch, regularly spinning slots at $1,000 to $10,000 per spin for 12 hours straight. He became one of Twitch's most controversial figures, accused of exposing young audiences to gambling while never using affiliate codes.
When Twitch restricted gambling from unlicensed casinos in October 2022, he moved to Kick, the platform he partially owns and helped launch as a gambling-friendly alternative. Kick's 95/5 revenue split and permissive policies let him stream without limits.
Pay Depleted, Now Using His Own Money
This week's losses are among Trainwreckstv's worst ever broadcast, though still far below his reported $40 million single-month loss in 2022. A November 2025 run was previously his second-worst. He is currently playing Pragmatic Play's The Dog House at $1,000 per spin on Stake, which reported roughly $2.6 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2024.
During one broadcast, fellow streamer Adin Ross joined a live call and asked for a loan. Ross signed a $50 million deal with rival platform Rainbet last September, months before Bloomberg exposed statistically anomalous win rates on Stake's in-house games. Trainwreckstv declined on air, citing his $10 million loss.
