South Korean semiconductor stocks opened sharply higher on July 22 after gains in U.S. technology and chip shares overnight. As of 8:11 Beijing time, Samsung Electronics was up 5.79% at KRW 274,000, while SK Hynix had climbed 8.50% and briefly touched KRW 2 million for the first time since July 15.
