Korean retail investors bought about $4.6 billion worth of U.S. stocks in July, according to a post by The Kobeissi Letter on X. The figure marked the largest monthly total since January 2026 and was up 627% from the previous month. The reversal stood out after Korean retail traders had been net sellers of U.S. equities in both April and May, unloading $469 million and $940 million, respectively. July's total also came in well above the 2025 monthly average of $2.7 billion. The Kobeissi Letter added that, across 2025, Korean retail purchases of U.S. stocks were more than three times the level seen in 2024.
