JAKARTA, Indonesia – KuCoin, a leading global crypto platform, has joined forces with the Global CSR Foundation and the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) to support Yayasan Srikandi Merah Putih's 'A Matter of Dignity – Sumatra Relief Initiative.' The collaboration will deliver 5,000 menstrual hygiene kits, essential medicines, and fresh food to disaster-affected communities in Aceh and Medan, Sumatra, focusing on women's health and dignity.
Background and Distribution Plan
The relief supplies are scheduled for distribution starting in early April 2026, prioritizing communities hit hardest by recent disasters and prolonged recovery challenges. The initiative builds on the Menstrual Equity Project, conceived by Dr. Padmini Murthy, Global Health Lead at AMWA, and Jing Zhao Cesarone, founder of the Global CSR Foundation. After successful implementation in the Bahamas, Suriname, and clinics affiliated with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the model has been adapted for the Indonesian context.
Collaborative Efforts for Women's Dignity

Teuku Badruddin Syah, Sultan of Aceh; Agustina Hastarini, spouse of Indonesia's Minister of MSMEs; and La Ode Ikrar Hastomi, representative of the Ministry of Industry, highlighting government engagement in cross-sector humanitarian action.

Prominent Indonesian public figures such as Baim Wong, Rianti Cartwright, Dame Aning, Nadya Shakira, Ririn Dwi Ariyanti, and Metta Permadi have joined the initiative, using their platforms to amplify the message of dignity-centered humanitarian response. The program was formally presented during an intimate press dinner titled 'A Matter of Dignity' on February 6, 2026, at Sushi Maru Hang Tuah, Jakarta, bringing together foundation leaders, government representatives, medical experts, business executives, and senior media.
