The trial will support three stablecoins — JPYC, USDC and USDT. Payments will be made through HashPort Wallet and MetaMask, while settlement will be handled through the PAYTREE multi-code payment gateway provided by Canal Payment Service. The setup does not require a dedicated payment terminal. On Aug. 6, the test will take place at the Takanawa Gateway City store using HashPort Wallet and JPYC. On Aug. 17, the trial will move to the Osaki Atrium store, where MetaMask will be used with USDC, USDT and JPYC.
