Lido said blockchain infrastructure provider Stakely has launched two ETH staking products built on stVaults, Lido’s modular staking infrastructure. One is a public vault open to all users that combines ETH staking with EarnETH, Lido’s ETH DeFi strategy. The other is a dedicated institutional vault with customizable settings, allowing institutions to set their own fee structures and permission parameters while keeping assets segregated. According to Lido, Stakely acts only as a node operator running validators and does not custody institutional assets. Lido said stVaults is designed to address the trade-off between native staking and pooled staking by giving stakers validator choice while also providing access to stETH liquidity. On security, Lido said the stVaults smart contracts have been audited by multiple firms, including Certora and MixBytes, and are backed by a bug bounty program offering rewards of up to $2 million.

Lido said in a post on X that blockchain infrastructure provider Stakely has launched two ETH staking products based on stVaults, the protocol’s modular staking infrastructure.

One product is a public staking vault open to all users, combining ETH staking with EarnETH, Lido’s ETH DeFi strategy. The second is a dedicated vault for institutions with customizable configurations. Institutions can set their own fee and permission parameters, while assets remain segregated.

Two products target different user groups

According to Lido, the public vault is available to all users, while the institutional version is built for institutions that need more control over configuration and asset separation.

For the institutional vault, Stakely acts only as a node operator running validators and does not custody institutional assets.

What stVaults is designed to solve

Lido said stVaults is meant to address the trade-off between native staking and pooled staking, where liquidity and control are often difficult to keep at the same time. The setup allows stakers to retain validator choice while gaining access to stETH liquidity.

Audits and security measures

On security, Lido said the stVaults smart contracts have been audited by multiple firms, including Certora and MixBytes. The product also carries a bug bounty program with rewards of up to $2 million.
