Lion Group Holding, a U.S.-listed company, said it has rebalanced part of its digital asset treasury by selling all of its SOL holdings and a portion of its BTC position on Sept. 29, then using the proceeds to buy about 38,102 HYPE. After the move, the company said it held about 232,900 HYPE worth roughly $20.1 million.
The company said it did not sell any of its pre-existing HYPE in the transaction. It described the adjustment as an increase in HYPE concentration within its digital asset treasury and said the move reflects continued confidence in Hyperliquid’s fundamentals and long-term potential.
Lion Group also pointed to several recent developments around Hyperliquid and HYPE, including the launch of a manual borrowing feature that allows users to borrow stablecoins against pledged HYPE or BTC, a record high in platform open interest at the end of September, HYPE’s listing on Binance spot, and staking support from Gemini for eligible U.S. customers. Even so, the company said it is not making any judgment on the future performance of Hyperliquid or HYPE.
